ParticipantThe IFD540 can send TIS-B, FIS-B and GPS data to DroidEFB if the tablet/phone is connected to the IFD SSID, typically LIO_WIFI, and that SSID is entered in the DroidEFB Stratux ADS-B SSID entry in the Device Settings menu.
Any chance you’ll get flight plan exchange with the Avidyne IFDs any time soon? They publish the API…

ParticipantLynx upgraded, but didn’t see the new FIS-B products in DroidEFB.
Also, any chance to get some Avidyne IFD integration?skitheo
ParticipantOK, I’ve been using the Lynx NGT-9000 for 3 years now with the Stratux setting in DroidEFB. The drop-outs are still occurring. I’ll test it out shortly with the new 3.2.1 software in the Lynx and see if there is any improvement over the 2.0 software.
How about the FIS-B products? Will we be seeing those anytime soon in DroidEFB? I.e. Lightning, Icing (current & forecast), Turbulence, and Cloud Tops
Also, how about Avidyne IFD flight plan exchange? IFD software just upgraded to 10.2.3.1 which includes the ability to either be a WiFi access point with its own SSID or client on another device’s SSID.

ParticipantThank you. I see there is a reference to “Beta Lynx ADSB support” in 2.3.1, but do not see it in the Preferences as an option. Am I missing something?

ParticipantI see that we can enter departure procedures now. In 2.2.7, I don’t see quite how to enter IAPs, though.

ParticipantAnything for us?

ParticipantAny progress on Lynx or Avidyne IFD data exchange capability? Avidyne has released v10.2 which largely expands it’s data interchange capabilities.

ParticipantAny response? Have you guys abandoned this app?

ParticipantMy understanding from Avidyne, Piper, and other forums, the “standard” is subject to substantial interpretation. Thus, my IFD-540 reports “Traffic Sensor Error” whenever I’m near Class C/B airspace due to the data overload coming from the NGT-9000. http://forums.avidyne.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=849&PID=11717&SID=18629157afc9a4ab64zbfdz7ecefd5428240741&title=connecting-with-an-ngt-9000#11717

ParticipantUsing the Stratux setting, the data feed seems to drop out fairly frequently.

ParticipantFurther testing shows that with the Wifi broadcast port set to 4000, the Stratux setting is the only one that recognizes GPS and ADS-B data from the Lynx.

ParticipantSkyRadar emulation seemed to work with the Wifi device for the NGT set to broadcast on port 43211. When I changed the broadcast port number to 4000, the Stratux profile seemed to work better.
