Fine Location

DroidEFB needs to access the device’s fine location in order to perform its core functions like overlaying your position on aeronautical charts or maintaining your virtual logbook.

Foreground Location Mode

DroidEFB is always tracking the device’s location when it is running in the foreground.

There might be instances when DroidEFB is tracking a flight, but the app is moved to the background in order to perform other tasks on the device. In such situations DroidEFB will keep tracking your position and a notification icon will be visible to remind you of that. Once you bring back the app and explicitly exit, all location tracking will stop.
